These are fun to make and possible to wear together as a set or seperate. In this blog we give you the pattern to make exactly the same necklaces as in the example, but you can use your own creativity and bead as you’d like!

Needed supplies:
- White glass pearl beads 3mm
- Round, golden Czech facet beads 3mm
- Miyuki seed beads 11-4202 (duracoat galvanized gold)
- Miyuki seed beads 8-4202 (duracoat galvanized gold)
- Miyuki 2cut (hexcut) beads color 191 (24kt gold plated)
- Charm of star 10mm
- Preciosa drop pendant 6.5x13mm crystal transparant
- Stainless steel lobster clasp 11mm
- Stainless steel open ring 5mm
- Stainless steel skullcap with eye 6mm
- Stainless steel extension chain
- Crimp beads 2mm
- Fireline wire 0.20mm
- Needle
- Scissors
- Pliers (to attatch the clasp)
How to start:
To begin, we’ll first attach the first skullcap and clasp. Here’s how:
- Thread the knot cover with the top side facing up.
- Bead the crimp bead.
- Squeeze the crimp bead firmly.
- Cut the remaining thread as short as possible. It needs to be hidden in the skullcap, which is usually not very large.
- Bend the skullcap closed. The end of the wire is now hidden inside the skullcap.

You can string the chain randomly or you can follow this pattern to recreate the example.

Attaching the clasp:
Once you’ve threaded the entire pattern, we’ll attach another skullcap to the other side of the clasp. See the image above for instructions on how to attach the clasp.
Tip: You can attach both chains to one clasp so they always hang straight while wearing. Thread the chains first, then attach the clasp to both chains at the same time.
