This bracelet is perhaps the simplest yet cutest one you can find on our blog, and we’re excited to share it with you! I’ll now explain in a few easy steps how to string an elastic bracelet with little cherries, made using Miyuki 8/0 seed beads.

Needed supplies:

  • Miyuki elastic thread
  • Big eye stainless steel threading needle
  • Miyuki seed beads 8-3 (silverlined gold)
  • Miyuki seed beads 8-416 (opaque chartreuse)
  • Miyuki seed beads 8-4157 (opaque dyed magenta)

Instructions:

Step 1)
Cut a piece of elastic approximately 30 cm long.
String 5 gold beads.

Step 2)
Now string 1 green bead followed by 2 pink beads.

Step 3)
Pass your needle back through only the green bead.

Make sure to pull the thread tight and slide the beads firmly together, so that no gaps appear in your bracelet later.

Repeat steps 1 through 3 until your bracelet reaches the desired length. Then tie a secure double knot in the bracelet, preferably adding an extra knot to ensure it stays firmly in place. Trim the thread, and your cute cherry bracelet is ready!
